About Me

About Gillian

Gillian is an 18 year old biathlete on the Junior National Ski Team who has represented Canada numerous times in competition. She made her international debut at the 2016 Youth Olympic Games and has since competed on the Junior IBU Cup circuit. Gillian has won several medals at the Canadian National Championships/NorAm Champs over the past few seasons (2016-18).

Gillian’s goal is simple: She would like to compete at the highest level she possibly can and hopes to compete for Canada at the Winter Olympic Games. Gillian is passionate about being a biathlete because it continues to challenge her, pushes her to go beyond her limits and constantly motivates her to accomplish things she never thought possible.

The elements of sport inspire her to become a better athlete and person, providing fundamental skills that are not only useful on the race course but also translate into valuable life skills.
